Overhead Buddy provides informational guidance based on published airline carry-on and personal item size limits. Results are estimates, not guarantees.

Airline enforcement varies

Final enforcement of baggage rules is always at the discretion of airline staff and may vary depending on:

• Aircraft type
• Crew
• Gate conditions
• How full a flight is

Even if a bag appears to fit, acceptance is never guaranteed.

Borderline cases

For bags close to airline limits, Overhead Buddy may display a "Might Fit" result. This reflects real-world uncertainty and does not guarantee approval at the gate.

No liability

Overhead Buddy is not responsible for:

• Gate-check fees
• Denied carry-on items
• Airline policy changes
• Manufacturer measurement inaccuracies

You use this tool at your own discretion.

Accuracy of information

We make reasonable efforts to keep airline size information accurate and up to date. However, airline policies may change without notice, and Overhead Buddy cannot guarantee all information is current at all times.
